The rotary power rods are available in 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 18mm, 20mm & 22mm,
8mm & 10mm RODS
The 8mm & 10mm rods are made from extremely durable solid nylon and are quadruple crimped at each end of the fittings/ferrules, they are corrosion resistant as they are made from stainless steel, with double buttons for double security. They are extremely flexible for tight bends and ideal for 75mm to 150mm flues, ducts and vents. These fittings are only 16mm in width and independent of the larger rods from 12mm upwards, but they can be connected to the larger rods using an adaptor(ADPT305).
12mm RODS
The 12mm rods are made from extremely durable solid nylon and are quadruple crimped to the fittings/ferrules on either end of the rod, they are manufactured from stainless steel, so there is no corrosion. These rods are very light but strong, plus coping with 90 degree bends with ease, they are suitable for duct widths from 125mm to 200mm and no larger.

15mm, 18mm & 20mm RODS
The 15mm & 18mm rods are made from extremely durable solid nylon, quadruple crimped to the fittings/ferrules on either end of the rod, they are manufactured from stainless steel, so there is no corrosion, with stainless steel double buttons for extra security. The ultimate in non-corrosive metals longevity.
22mm RODS
The 22mm rods are made from hollow Polypropylene and are quadruple crimped to the fittings/ferrules on either end of the rod, plus the steel is heat treated for extra strength/durability and double plated for extra corrosion resistance. They are a very stiff and light rod for working in tall flues and are great combined with the 22mm Aluminium Rods.
ROD LENGTH
The 8mm, 10mm & 12mm rods are 90cm in length, the reason being is that the thinner rod you use at a long length then is looses its rigidity and can cause 'slap', stress the rod and eventually snap. So we found after much testing, a slightly stiffer but still very flexible rod is a better rod at 90cm and can get round 90 degree bends with ease. The 15mm, 18mm, 20mm and 22mm rods are all 1 metre in length.
ROD COLOUR
The rods are colour coded for ease of selection from when removing from the van or rod bag, so all the rods are sized as follows:
